This Is Not The 'Something Better' They Promised
-
Hey, talk radio people who were all about "repeal and replace," here's something your listeners care about that you should come clean about: The only thing the administration and Congress have done in health care is to permit people to buy short-term health insurance at lower prices, but those policies don't cover anything, so they're useless and just screw up the general pool for everyone else. In this article, a family bought one of the skimpy cheap plans to cover catastrophic problems while they negotiated prices for typical care. Guess what? The dad got a kidney stone and the hospital wants $35,000 that the insurance doesn't cover. How is this better for your listeners? If you don't have a legitimate answer, maybe you might want to revise what you say about the health care issue. (USA Today)
