You Want Adequate Seat Room? That's 'Economy Comfort,' And It'll Cost You Extra
-
A man is suing British Airways for seating him next to an obese passenger, saying that he was left injured by the fat guy's bulk during a 12-hour flight. And you could look at this as fat-shaming, or you could look at it from the perspective of someone who paid for a seat and whose room was impinged and violated. Should the airline have required the large person to pay for another seat to leave empty? Or prevent them from flying? Because if you've ever been crunched because the person next to you was so large they invaded your seat, you'd be upset, too. (USA Today)
