Oh, this is evil: At some malls, they've installed parking spot blockers just in time for the holiday rush. You start to park in what seems like an empty spot, but there's a barrier in the middle of it. Why? Because someone paid to reserve it. You want to park there? You have to pay to lower the barrier. I can see people getting into fights over this. Seriously, either make the damn lot a pay lot or not, but don't entice people into thinking a spot is open when it isn't. (WKMG-TV/Orlando)
