Rinse 'Em Off And Put Them Back Into The Bucket. They're Expensive, You Know
-
Researchers from Australia and the U.K. did something stupid in an attempt to reassure parents that the stupid thing is actually no big deal: They swallowed Legos and timed how long they took to come out the other end. Turns out it's just a matter of days, and they don't hurt anything. Good to know. Oh, they actually named the two tests they ran the "Stool Hardness And Transit" and "Found And Retrieved Time" scores -- go back and check the acronym action there -- so nobody's taking this too seriously. Still, if you're a parent, you want to know these things. (The Guardian)
