Hold My Calls. Literally
-
Necessity being the mother of invention, it shouldn't surprise you that when a high school in Philadelphia banned cell phones from the campus, kids found an alternative: They pay corner stores to hold their phones during the day. One store even holds phones for free, as long as they know the kids. If the school won't provide a place for the phones, and won't let them in the door, the groceries and comic book shops and coffee joints are a good alternative. (Philadelphia Inquirer)
