It's clear by now that "Holmes & Watson," the Will Ferrell-John C. Reilly take on the iconic characters, is awful, by all accounts and reviews an unfunny, terrible movie. But Sopan Deb of the New York Times had a thought about it: Could it be so bad it's good, in the vein of Ed Wood movies or "The Room"? His answer: No. But that raises a couple of easy talk topics for you: One, what DOES make anything "so bad it's good," whether it's a movie or Malort? And two, have you ever actually LIKED something everyone else unanimously hates? (New York Times)
