Tell Me How Do I Feel? (See What I Did There? New Order? Blue... Aah, Forget It)

You may have seen the third Monday in January referred to as "Blue Monday," the most depressing day of the year, when seasonal affective disorder is at its peak. If you're the kind of buzzkill person who wants actual evidence and science to back that up, well, here's what you suspected: there's no evidence at all that "Blue Monday" is any different from any other day. Worse, it was created by a British travel company as a sales tool; they hired a guy who calls himself a “psychologist, life coach and happiness consultant” to come up with the day so they could sell trips to warmer weather locations. It's a myth. That's not to say that there's no such thing as seasonal affective disorder, but it IS to say that there's no bluer Monday than any other day. (CTV News)
