A University of North Texas football player has apologized for posting to Twitter a video of three dogs mauling a caged raccoon while he laughs in the background. There are many issues here: Who finds that entertaining? Who lets dogs attack a trapped animal? Or you could ask if an apology for posting it is appropriate. Either way, the whole thing is creepy and more than a little sick, even for people who have no love for raccoons. (Dallas Morning News)
