Never Dare Short A Sweet Tooth

You have been there. You buy a package of candy, you open it, and you find it's mostly air. Now, Ghirardelli and Russell Stover -- co-owned by Lindt, it turns out -- are being fined $750,000 and ordered by a California court to change their packaging, because you'd buy a Ghirardelli bag of chocolate squares and you couldn't see what was in it, and when you got home and opened it, you'd bought a lot of air and a few chocolate squares. Trivial, perhaps, but a long-standing ripoff. (SFGate.com)
