She's Not A Pharmacist But She Plays One At The Drug Store
-
Customers wouldn't have known, but Walgreens surely should have known that a pharmacist who worked for them as a pharmacist for 11 years and dispensed 745,355 prescriptions didn't have a license. She did have a pharmacy technician license, but that's not valid to dispense drugs. The explanation is that the drug store had a number for her license that wasn't hers but rather for another pharmacist with a similar name. They had no proof of her degree, no copies of her licenses, yet they let her work. Are companies that lax about hiring? Don't answer that. (SFGate.com)
