There are whole, you know, THINGS going on of which not all of us are aware. I'm not a fisherman, so I don't know anything about the rules of fishing other than the vague idea that sometimes you catch something and throw it back. Not sure when or where or what, though. So I wasn't aware that you can't catch tuna out of season. Or that a big tuna can be worth as much as $10,000. This guy caught such a tuna out of season, and, realizing that he could get into trouble, dumped it in the woods, where it was found three days later. Apparently, this was huge news in the fishing community in 2017. And now, the guy's been fined and put on probation. And it's serious, because tuna fishing is big business and illegal fishing out of season affects people's livelihoods. Also, the fish probably stank up the woods something fierce. (Salem News)
