Wait, There Are Instructions With Those?
-
A woman is warning people after her slow cooker exploded and caused bad burns: the ones with the locking lids are NOT supposed to be locked while cooking, even though they have steam vents. You're supposed to leave the lid unlocked when it's on, and use the locks only while transporting it. She's used the pot for 5 years the wrong way. I would say, hey, read the manual, lady, but that would be unfair. NOBODY reads the instructions. And it's fair to assume the vents would prevent pressure from building up. Are you one of the people who doesn't read the manual before using an appliance? (KTVX/Salt Lake City)
