Wouldn't Bother Me. That's Like Lunchtime For Me

The good news is that the end is near for this, but people in one Florida neighborhood were being awakened by a 6:30 am horn from a cell phone tower every morning for months. Why? It was to scare off ospreys from building nests there. The tower's scheduled to be demolished in early March, but they had to blast a horn to ward off the osprey nests (if they didn't, federal law prevents removal of the nests). Weirdly, the horn doesn't violate the city noise ordinance, and no permit is required. Now, the tower owner has decided to turn off the horn and hope for the best. Maybe they'll get lucky.
