Bet Kirkland Brand's Up There, Too
-
Judges at the World Whiskies Awards picked their choice for the very best scotch whiskey in the world, and the winner, the very best, the pinnacle, was a supermarket-brand whiskey, and not just any supermarket, but the no-frills, low-cost Lidl. The stuff, labeled Queen Margot, costs about $18 US and beat whiskey that costs double or more. And THAT raises the question of whether you're confident you can tell the difference between the expensive and cheap stuff, especially when it comes to drinks like vodka. I bet most people can't.
