Even If You Need One, A Pit Bull Might Be A Little Much. Try A Poodle Or Something
-
Service dogs -- trained to help people who need it -- are one thing. Emotional support animals -- not trained, just there to make someone feel more calm and happy -- are another. And so we have a lawsuit alleging that a child was injured when attacked at an airport by someone else's emotional support pit bull. This is not an isolated case. There have been other cases. And you know about the people who have tried to bring emotional support peacocks and hamsters on airplanes. Is it time to stop this? Or are people who legitimately need the pets with them going to be penalized because others are gaming the system? (Washington Post)
