Dad Always Liked You Best
-
In Australia, they've found a second set of what they're calling semi-identical twins, babies who share mom's DNA but not dad's, meaning that her eggs were fertilized by sperm with different DNA. I know what you're thinking, but sperm can contain different DNA in the same person, because each time a slightly different set of DNA gets divided and goes into the sperm, and the result is that you can have twins that appear to be identical at first but turn out to be one boy, one girl, which is, you know, not identical. It's rare. (CBC)
