Let's first stipulate that it's not funny that a group of K-Pop dancers were practicing when someone's dog, off the leash, ran up and chased one of the dancers, possibly nipping her leg in the process. And there's video. There's a topic in this about idiots who insist on leaving their dogs off the leash in public, assuring everyone that the dog is well behaved and won't harm them; I encounter these when I'm running and the dogs don't know not to scurry under your feet or bark or otherwise get in your way when you're most vulnerable. But there's also a topic in what entertainment or sports events would be improved by letting dogs run loose in them. Surely, any cable news panel discussion would be enlivened if dogs were released onto the set. (CTV News)
