And Cats Are Getting High On Watching Humans Make Fools Of Themselves
-
People will do anything for a high. In New Jersey, they're using something labeled as catnip. They are not cats. A health food store has been selling "Catnip Cocktail," allegedly for use as an animal sedative, and people are getting a little wacky on it. It contains no catnip, though. It contains 1,4-butanediol, which, once taken, metabolizes into GHB, which is, of course, a date rape drug. The stuff also goes by the names “fish tank cleaner,” “ink stain remover,” and “nail enamel remover.” If you find yourself taking stuff with names like that, you might consider whether you've hit bottom.
