Still More Of The 'Nobody Goes There Anymore, It's Too Crowded' Places
-
Last week, we had a story about a Paris street where the residents want to gate the block because they've been overrun by Instagramming tourists. And you may have read about how Lake Elsinore here in Southern California has been overwhelmed by a flood of tourists taking snaps of the "superbloom" left in the wake of our rainy winter. Here's the San Francisco Chronicle's SFGate website with a gallery of Bay Area spots they say have been "ruined" by social media in the same way, with hordes of tourists, and in one other way, by revealing spots the locals have enjoyed as a "secret" for years. Are there places in your area that have similarly been turned into selfie spots? (SFGate.com)
