You Could Always Just Write Your Name On The Sidewalk With A Sharpie
-
Walt Disney World is one place that has personalized bricks on the ground -- you know what I'm talking about, you "sponsor" a brick and your name or message are memorialized on the walkway or in a wall. Well, they have that, hexagonal bricks on the "Walk Around the World," but they only promised to display them through 2011 and now they're removing the bricks, and if you paid for one, since they didn't design the thing to allow for individual brick removal, you're not going to get the original brick. You can pay ten bucks plus tax (and shipping, if you're not there) to buy a commemorative 6-inch brick. But the originals are coming out, so, well, you got eight extra years, I suppose. Meanwhile, anyone will be able to buy a brick just like the ones that were in the walk, but they'll just be souvenirs, big, heavy, pointless souvenirs. (WFLA-TV/Tampa)
