Probably Won't Settle The Case For Unlimited Salad And Breadsticks
-
A woman is suing the Olive Garden for burns she suffered in her throat after eating stuffed mushrooms that were too hot. I'm not going to judge whether the lawsuit has any merit, but on the one hand, you could say people should take small bites and judge whether something's too hot before jamming it all into their throats, yet on the other hand, we all grab small items and snarf them whole before determining that they're too hot. We do that all the time. So something like this COULD happen to you. Whether it's the restaurant's duty to inform the diners how hot an item is, that's another issue. (KTVT/Dallas-Fort Worth)
