Forget That. Find Out What Percentage Bother To Flush
-
Bradley Corp., the makers of commercial bathroom fixtures, does a poll every year for publicity purposes, and this year, they asked the 80% of Americans who use public toilets what they're doing in there. You thought you didn't want to know this, but here you are, so: Almost half check their appearance, 40% blow their noses or cough, 27% use it as an escape. And another finding is that 64% say they choose businesses to patronize based on the cleanliness of their restrooms, which I'm not sure is entirely true unless the restrooms are particularly disgusting. I'll believe that most people won't go back to a store or restaurant if the restrooms are that terrible. (Milwaukee Journal Sentinel)
