An appeals court has rejected a $1.8 million ($1.3 million U.S.) claim by an Australian engineer that he was bullied by a former colleague... with farts. The lower court judge decided that the allegation that the colleague would come into the plaintiff's small, windowless office five or six times a day and fart did not constitute bullying, and the appeals judges focused on a "fart off" between the alleged farter and another employee, which doesn't seem to matter much but is entertaining nonetheless. Anyway, the plaintiff is planning to appeal this to the High Court, so we'll smell... er, hear about this again. (9 News/Victoria)
