Have They Studied Petting Yet?
-
April 10th is "International Hug Your Dog Day." Too bad that a study at the University of British Columbia analyzing photos of people hugging their dogs concluded that dogs don't like to be hugged. Dogs showed facial signs of discomfort, stress, or anxiety in 81.6% of the photos. Not sure that this actually proves that they don't like to be hugged, but, you know, they aren't humans and may not have the same reaction to things that you would. (WKMG-TV/Orlando)
