Speed Bumps? YOU'RE The Speed Bump

Earl Street in the Silverlake district of Los Angeles is the latest narrow residential street to get overrun by traffic sent there by Waze. The street, which used to be quiet and is very narrow, now sees trucks and buses along with countless commuters using the street as a shortcut, prompted by the GPS app. Waze (owned by Google) kinda shrugs it off, but if you live there, it's a problem, especially at rush hour when the street is clogged with traffic and vehicles too large for the road clip parked cars. What should be done about this? (Fun minor note: The TV report interviews the neighborhood council representative, and it's Anne Marie Johnson, the actress who has been in a million shows and whom you will instantly recognize, this time in her role of Concerned Citizen.)
