Still Not Taking The Bus, Tho

I know y'all don't have a lot of sympathy for those of us in Southern California when we complain about how expensive it is to live in the region, so jeer all you want, but we've seen gas prices rise 50 cents in a month and with regular about to go past $4 per gallon, we're looking at a gas tax hike in July on top of that. Why the price hike? Because of refinery problems and a scheduled maintenance closing of another refinery, which always leads speculators and those dependent on a steady oil/gas supply to drive up prices, and because they can. We're even seeing higher prices than Hawaii now. I know, your heart is bleeding for us. (KTLA/Los Angeles)
