The Rent Also Rises

Actually, for a two-bedroom apartment in the heart of a generally expensive city, $730,000 (Canadian) isn't really outrageous, and for one once inhabited by a very, very famous person, it's... well, you decide if you'd pay that much for a Toronto apartment in which Ernest Hemingway once lived. Barely. He paid $85 a month in 1923, and moved out after six months. Would it matter to you that a celebrity once lived in your home? Would you pay extra for the privilege of saying "Hey, you know who used to live in my house?" (CBC)
