It's The Lack Of Thought That Counts
-
A hospital sent out Cancer Survivor Day event invitations to at least one family of a kid who died of cancer. So their direct mail targeting capabilities are a little... off. So it's an unfortunate mistake, but are direct mail and email glitches like that something to decry and shame or is it better to ignore? I'll give you an example: I still get junk mail addressed to my father, who died years ago. Granted, it's not the same as getting a cancer survivor thing when your kid didn't survive, but is that just a clerical error or something for which someone needs to answer? (WFLA-TV/Tampa)
