At Home, You Can Pause It And Use Your Own Bathroom, Which Seems Like A Better Deal

Everybody knows that "Avengers: Endgame" is three hours long. Overseas, some theaters are carving out their own intermission to give patrons a pee break in the middle of the movie. Maybe an 18 year old doesn't need it, but for those of us in older demographics, should movies longer than, say, two hours have intermissions like they did back in the olden days of cinema? If you've seen the movie, could you have used an intermission? Is three hours -- even a great, thrilling, time-passes-fast three hours -- too much to ask of a moviegoer? (The New York Times)
