You're supposed to listen to your body, right? If you have a craving, your body's telling you something, right? Nah, according to research that suggests cravings are psychological and don't represent what your body needs. It's not a nutritional deficiency calling if you're craving chocolate. Your brain just wants food that tastes good. And, no, it's also not dopamine-related: If that were the case, there are foods with a lot more dopamine than chocolate. So, blame your brain. (BBC)
