Gritty Reboot Of 'Night Shift'
-
You just KNOW that people who work in morgues probably do gallows humor all the time, so when a doctor for the Georgia Bureau of Investigations working in the morgue gets suspended and the story hits the papers, you know it was probably pretty bad as those things go. And, sure enough, the doctor combined dead folks humor with religious/racial "humor" by twice asking colleagues if they knew how to do a "Muslim autopsy," the "joke" involving lifting the neck of a dead woman and doing the wailing (ululation) sound made at funerals and weddings in the Middle East. Yeah, probably wanna stick to just the dead folks jokes and not add in the xenophobia. (WSB-TV/Atlanta)
