Look, Just Don't Answer The Phone Ever Again, To Be Safe
-
Look, it's simple, and I don't understand how anyone would not understand this: If someone calls your cell phone claiming to be from the Social Security Administration and they claim your number's been suspended, it's a scam, an obvious, not even all that clever scam. The calls are recordings, the caller ID spoofed, and if you go so far as to accept the call and engage with them, you should figure things out when they ask you for your social security number. I know, they prey on the elderly and easily confused, but, still, it should be common knowledge by now that if someone calls YOU and asks for your social security or credit card information, they're not legitimate.
