Don't Need One O' Those If You Never Leave Home

It doesn't cost extra, and while it DOES take more documentation, once you get it the first time, you don't have to do that again. What it is, is Real ID, which just rolled out in Tennessee, and it is not mandatory. That leads to articles like this one in which some folks say they don't want Real ID because they don't fly much and, hey, last time they flew, their reg'lar ol' license worked jes' fine. Problem is, next time -- at least, after 2020 -- it won't work. So, again, why would you NOT just go get the Real ID license and be done with it? (Knoxville News-Sentinel)
