I'm Holding Out For A Twelve-Digit Plate

I still do not understand the appeal of special license plates, but then again I'm cheap and just take what California gives me. Some people, though, will queue up and pay big money for plates, and so we have Delaware once again offering special five-digit license plates, and Delawareans queuing up and willing to pay a bonus and hoping they get the lowest number available. Do special plates appeal to you? Why? Are you willing to pay a premium? (KYW-TV/Philadelphia)
