You Weren't Gonna Eat All Those Cans Of Soup Anyway

This seems like a really good idea: People go to the shore for a week of vacation and tend to have food left over. Instead of throwing it out, they now have an option in Ocean City, NJ: A school building supervisor created a food drop-off bin so vacationers can donate the leftovers to a food bank for the needy. Makes total sense: Everyone overbuys food when they're spending a week at a beach house, and they're not going to haul it all back with them when they pack up and head home. This should be a standard thing in every beach town. (KYW-TV/Philadelphia)
