Maybe The Bus Or Something
-
At first blush, it seems like a logical solution to a typical parenting problem: You can't always be there to pick up or drop off your kids from school or activities, so you call an Uber or Lyft. But what you're doing is putting your child alone in a car with a stranger. This may be a little too far on the creepy side. Also, the drivers are wary about this, too, because they know they can be accused of practically anything. There are age restrictions in the rules for the ride-sharing companies, but some drivers do it anyway, and some parents are okay with that. And it's a risk that maybe isn't worth the benefit.
