Maybe They Can Telecommute From Idaho

I'm gonna keep asking this apparently unanswerable question: If, as a Zillow study shows, entry-level teachers in L.A. have to spend over 85% of their Income on rent because it's become that expensive to live here, where are teachers supposed to live? Extend that to people in all kinds of service jobs: If the pay for many jobs doesn't even come close to covering the daily expenses of life, how are these areas going to find anyone to do all those jobs? And if school quality is a major factor in home values -- and it is -- should the teachers responsible for the quality of education in town be paid enough to live there? (KNBC-TV/Los Angeles)
