Some Things Don't Need 'Improvement'
-
When is high tech a defect rather than a feature? Teslas have all sorts of futuristic features, and you know how the autopilot has gotten some people into trouble, as has that "summon" feature. But one incident is particularly troublesome: A lawsuit alleges that a man's horrific death was caused when his Tesla Model S's battery caught fire after a crash and he couldn't open the door to get out because they malfunctioned. The door handles pop out only when a key fob is nearby, and they didn't pop out, so first responders couldn't get him out and they watched him burn to death. Maybe analog is the way to go.
