Oh, Look, Somebody Else's Problem
-
Where we are, 2019: A street race in the Valley left a man dead in the street, a hit-and-run victim. And dozens of cars proceeded to drive by and around the body. And you CAN blame the people involved in the race, but can you blame others for not wanting to get involved, considering how good Samaritans can get in trouble when they intervene in things? You never know who's out there and what they might do to you if you stop to help, and you can't tell if the victim was shot and there's still a shooter taking aim. Would you have pulled over, or called 911, or just gotten out of there? (KABC-TV/Los Angeles)
