Life's Too Short For A Bad Movie
-
Washington Post critic Alyssa Rosenberg admits that she just had enough of the new Stephen King adaptation "Doctor Sleep" and she wants you to know that it's okay to walk out of a movie if you just aren't into it. Life's too short, right? She also notes that sometimes you think a movie will be up your alley and it isn't, and other times, you think a movie is not for you and you end up loving it (she's fond of "Ford Vs. Ferrari" despite thinking she wouldn't like it). Either point -- walking out of movies, and being pleasantly surprised or bitterly disappointed by a movie -- would make a good conversation topic.
