Hey, Madonna, Let's Get To It. I Gotta Be Up For Work Tomorrow Morning
-
Yes, a ticket buyer is suing Madonna for starting her concerts late, and the legal basis for the suit is a little shaky -- he's claiming that because the concerts' official start time is 8::30 but she doesn't take the stage before 10:30, that makes the tickets less valuable. And, yeah, the late start is annoying, but is that a violation of a contract or is the change causing actual damage? On the other hand, shouldn't arena concerts start at a reasonable hour? If it says 8:30 on the ticket, is it fair to make everyone stand around for a few hours between the opening act and the main event? Like making everyone chant and flick lighters for the encore that we know is scheduled anyway, is the super-late start to an arena show a thing that needs to be eliminated? (TMZ)
