Maybe Judge Judy Would Have Bought It. Probably Not, Tho
-
Look, yes, it was ridiculous that an inmate filed to end his life sentence because he claimed that he briefly died during a medical emergency (septic shock from kidney stones), and that meant that his life "ended" and so did the sentence. Obviously, that wasn't going to fly. But was that worth a shot? Because you never know what you'll get from some judges. This judge noted that the inmate, in prison for murder, is either alive, which means the sentence is intact, or dead, in which case, well, he's dead. But he's not dead, and he's not free. (CNN)
