Not Holly And Not Particularly Jolly, Either
-
Some people love the holidays. Some people... well, they don't. They get the holiday blues, and it's something that affects a LOT of people, like single, divorced, or widowed people, caregivers, children of divorced parents, people with small or no families, even small business owners. Throw in seasonal affective disorder and those folks are not merry and happy this month. The best thing for them is if you, assuming you're not suffering from the same syndrome, include them in your activities, like shopping trips or parties. The root is that they feel forgotten, lonely, inconsequential... and that's something a lot of people are feeling, holiday or not. Reach out to them this year. (CTV)
