Big Deal, You Can Fly It In, Like, Five And A Half Hours
-
Every time someone makes a "Cannonball Run"-type dash from coast to coast, like the three who just drove from New York to Santa Monica in 27 hours, I wonder if it's a pinnacle in narcissism. They had to endanger other drivers across America, using radar detectors and lookouts and informants to avoid the police, and they were driving insane speeds all the way. Someone in front of them in the lane? A surprise pedestrian on the highway? A stray deer or squirrel? People who had to crash to avoid them? Insignificant, I guess. (CBS News)
