Taco Bell needs to attract more management level talent and they're upping the ante in the face of fierce competition between chains for those workers. How? Well, they're testing offering $100,000 salary and 24 hours per year of paid sick leave for store managers at some corporate-owned units, which raises the question of whether you'd see Taco Bell manager as a viable career path for yourself or your kids. I would want more paid sick leave than what amounts to three days a year, but, let's be honest, a hundred grand isn't terrible. Maybe the job is, but the money isn't.
