It's Like They've Never Seen... Wait, Maybe They HAVEN'T Ever Seen One
-
When we were kids, we could always annoy our parents by asking "why?" about everything, because adults sometimes can't tell you why something is what it is. Which brings us to the Supreme Court deciding to not hear a challenge to New Hampshire's ban on women going topless in public, an attempt to reconcile different court rulings on similar laws. The state contended that they can't let women go topless even though men can, because of "societal norms," and THAT makes me want to repeatedly ask "why?" like my 4 year old self. Who decided that those were the societal norms? What harm will come from changing that? And it's not like women will all immediately take off their tops; men can go shirtless and most of us don't, except at the beach in the Summer. So, why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Quit it! Why? Why?
