Not The Best Option, But There Aren't Many Other Options

Add this to the "well, where do we put them, then?" list: Here in California, as you already know, we have a terrible problem dealing with the homeless, yet nobody can figure out how to get the homeless out of tents on the sidewalks and into real homes. Now, a related problem: Many homeless set up camp along the railroad tracks, and some of them are getting hit by trains. Once again, though, if we remove the camps from the railroad tracks, where will the people go? (Los Angeles Times)
