Let Creators Create
-
The changes made to the Sonic the Hedgehog movie when fans complained about the animation of Sonic's teeth in the first trailer is just one example of fans feeling entitled to interfere in the creative process, and, well, sure, Sonic is not what you think about when you think about art, but it extends to any cultural franchise ("Star Wars" is an obvious example) where fans put pressure on the people making the art to do what they want. When does "fan service" get in the way of creativity? (BBC)
