Well, It IS Efficient Use Of The Space
-
Not too long ago, there was a story about a Philadelphia apartment that was designed with the bathroom basically in the bedroom. We all laughed. Turns out that you'll find that kind of thing all the time in London, where the overheated rental market, as ridiculous as it is in San Francisco these days, will get you an apartment with a bed next to the toilet and shower for $2,000 a month. Basically, any space that anyone can remotely live in is being snapped up at exorbitant rates. Could you live like that? And who are the people who can afford to pay that much for that little? (CNN)
