Joshua Tree National Park, which is closed to cars and campers due to the coronavirus outbreak, is nevertheless being swarmed with visitors. You ARE allowed to bike or hike in the park -- after all, it's a massive empty space -- but what's happening is that people are showing up, dumping their cars in people's driveways and literally camping in their yards. Park officials are having a hard time managing the crowds. And this is all at a time when the governor has ordered people to stay home except for essential business. People, Joshua Tree is awesome, but now is not the time. (Desert Sun)
